About the Author Steve Hunter, author of From The Command Car. Christian family man, author, public speaker, touring musical entertainer, 8th degree martial arts master and founder of the martial arts style known as Buke-ryu or The Warrior Family Style. " His fascinating life story By Amazon Customer An inspiring story of a humble man with a deep regard for family and country. This book chronicles Mr. Charles Libby's youth hopping trains around Williamsport, to time spent with working as a "CCC Boy", to serving as a command car driver in the European theater during WWII. His story is revealed through quotes from the subject linked by the narrative of the author. What evolves is a story of a man representative of what's been called "the greatest generation." His fascinating life story, and particularly his heroics in service to our country, is recalled with humility and infused with humanity. A great read throughout.
