The art in this book, as well as in his others, is great and the story is generally interesting. The only problem I have with it is that it is, in my opinion, a few hairs to short. I know Krekeler has done kick starters in the past and wonder if the books length was due in part to financial reasons. The story develops well but ends a bit to suddenly and leaves you wanting more, which there is no promise or mention of. I will say that if you just want a fun single read this one works better then his other, 'The Colodin Project', which was great but DEFINITELY NOT meant to be the single volume it has turned out to be. Im still hoping he will pick it back up. All in all definitely still worth the price though.

But I can admit when I am wrong, and Dry Spell is a fantastic damn comic. I personally like it when a comic book makes me audibly gasp and bother the other people around me on the train, and this book did just that, in multiple panels. It was a bit too short it felt, but that might have just been because I wanted to keep reading more! Overall, absolutely worth the read.
