About the Author Paula Pasche is an award-winning veteran sportswriter for the Oakland Press and other Michigan Digital First Media properties. She reported on the Barry Sanders era and returned as the Lions beat writer seven years ago. She has also covered the Detroit Red Wings, the University of Michigan, two Rose Bowls, an NCAA Final Four, the 2004 Ryder Cup, and Super Bowl XL. A member of the Pro Football Writers of America, Pasche resides in Sylvan Lake, Michigan.

Each chapter made me feel like writer Paula Pasche was sitting at the bar with me, drinking a cold beer, recounting memories from the greats Barry Sanders and Charlie Sanders, to the current players Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson. It reads quick like a newspaper column, and I enjoyed it throughout the Thanksgiving holiday. Made my weekend!

But Game of My Life Detroit Lions provides a behind-the-scenes look at the team's best players through the years, their best and worst memories, the dynamics of the team.
