About the Author After leaving her convent school, Miranda Lee briefly studied the cello before moving to Sydney, where she embraced the emerging world of computers. In fact, he's her favorite author and writes about this politically incorrect action hero who treats women like socks, changing 'em every day. Lisa is a widow with a son but she doesn't believe in romantic love, since she never could warm up to her late husband's lovemaking.Lisa owns a maid service and when one of her cleaners cannot make it to clean Jack's condo, Lisa takes care of it. Jack usually likes the maid to be silent and do her job, leaving him without distractions from his writing. But one glimpse of hottie Lisa and he's ready to be pulled away from his keyboard. As he writes about the latest woman in his protaganist's life she becomes blonde like Lisa.He invites her to attend an award ceremony with him, she reluctantly agrees just because he lies and tells her that it's to keep women at bay and will mean nothing to him, a one-off as the Brits and Aussies say. But he's hoping for more. Pretty soon, Jack's ready to commit to Lisa if he can just persuade her that he's a man with a slow hand and she gives him fever.Okay, enough sexy song titles! :) Read the book, you'll like it. Miranda Lee is one of Harlequin Presents' better writers. Check out some of her other stories; you'll like them as well.

No games, no blackmail, no devious plots. And the hero lets you into his thoughts so you can enjoy knowing the heroine's in good hands. Nice read.

They have an instant attraction to each other. Hero pursues it & heroine finds it strange b/c of her aversion to sex. Hero manages to convince heroine to let him teach her the pleasures of sex. But their strictly sexual affair feels like more but heroine wants to hide it from her family.This Lee book was neither deep or poignant. In fact, it was an average read with light emotional involvement. The romance was also light. There was no Big Misunderstanding b/w the main characters. Their r/s challenge was merely about the main characters' readiness to commit to marriage. Neither had any major issues against marriage: heroine didn't like sex & Hero has not met the right woman yet. But once they figured out what they felt for each other, they smoothly submitted to a serious commitment with each other.Heroine's aversion to sex didn't have any deep or traumatic roots. She just didn't care to have sex with her husband & only lover. And Hero's sexual expertise easily fixed her sexual "problem" for her. No major breakthroughs or revelations.Read this book if you want some sexual sizzle but no angst.
