But the author does a good job of giving the reader a broad picture of the subject. He does mention several times to check locally the laws that will effect you. He also encourages the reader to constant training and education on the subject. All in all, it is a good book for a newbie to read and decide if they want to delve deeper. Good job.

Often, I found myself wondering if it had been translated by someone with poor english speaking skills.Covered the EXTREME basics of concealed carry....mostly common sense stuff. And most often 1 or 2 paragraphs per topic.Couldn't give it a 1/4 star.

By Amazon Customer I feel being well trained in using your firearm, having good equipment, gaining reasonable awareness, and living with proper mental attitude are all very essential. Fortunately, my home state of New York, issues permit and allows qualified citizens to carry concealed weapon. Since, I'm new to shooting, had been looking to get my CCW license. I'm very glad I found this on my kindle- it has saved me lots of time, and has answered lots of my questions. I respect how they focus on how to avoid having to use your gun, but to be ready to use it at a moment's notice. Very good, balanced, safe information.
