She moved away to NYC when her parents divorced, and left behind her first love Sean. When he shows up at the wake she starts to wonder whether or not she still has feelings for him. He never married or left home so it confuses her about the reasons he stayed behind, and if her reasons for staying away were valid. To make matters more complicated she is engaged to Alex and he's pushing her to return home asap. Could it be that he's not the one for her and Sean is? I can't answer that because it's not answered in this book, yes we have a cliffhanger.I liked this sweet beginning to what could be a good story, I just wish it were a complete book instead of 3 separate books.
