Raisler Pearls Before Swine is simply one of the BEST comic strips EVER.This collection is like any other PBS collection, chock full of funny reprints of a dark, twisted, funny comic.What sets it apart is this, is simplyTheBESTCOVERINTHEHISTORYOFTHEUNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Seriously, I want a poster or a tattoo of this cover. It is BEYOND perfection!Side note, Pastis is notoriously self deprecating about himself and how he looks. I was at a Comic Con, talking with a group of comic artists, when a guy walked up and joined the conversation. My first thought was "DAY-UM, WHO is this FINE ass slice o MAN?"Seriously, I was drooling like a 1980's groupie at a Bon Jovi concert.My friend, Rick Detorie ("One Big Happy" {BEST. STRIP. *EVER*) asked me if I knew who he was, and when I admitted I didn't, he told me it was Stephan Pastis.DORKEDOUT*SO*HARD!Long story short, got to meet the genius, got an original sketch, and have fan girl spazzed EVER since.BRILLIANT Writer, awesome artist, and one FINE ass slice o man.His wife is a LUCKY Woman.And the rest of us get to enjoy his brilliance in the newspaper everydayWho says life isn't awesome?

There has been more of a tendency in recent years to have Pastis himself involved in the strips. Is he really separated from Staci? Is too much of his life put on display in the strip? I would like to see more of the crocs.
