2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Great book, but... (some spoilers) By Anonymous Reviewer I really enjoy this series. It's fun, adventurous, and it holds you interest. Though this one was just as good as the last two, I found the sudden appearance of the sea serpents, especially with Cassie unknowingly being one, to be kind of a drawback. It kind of felt like the author suddenly decided to randomly throw them in there in order to expand the series. Not that doing so is a bad thing, it just felt like too much of a stretch, and something that was done solemnly to expand the series rather than being something that was meant to happen all along. It just seemed like the introduction of the sea serpents wasn't done well, and Cassie being one was kind of an eye roll moment.Other than that though, I enjoyed this book just as much as the others.
