The characters are fantastic!. Lana and Ty are from rival shifter packs. Not only this but their Fathers have had a feud for years. Lana and Ty could not fight their fate,and fate destained them to be mates lol. Lana was from the East coast Berkshire pack and Ty is now Alpha of the desert twin moon pack. It has been two years sense Ty and Lana mated now it is time for Ty to meet her family. Ty proved him self to his pack now he has to prove him self to the Berkshire pack. Lana's former pack calls him Desert Wolf. The first day they get to Lana's families home her brothers challenge him to a game of Lacrosse game. Ty meets their challenge even if he does come out worse for wear lol. Now if only Lana can get her parents to accept him and see he is not like his Dad. Ty soon finds the Berkshire pack is made up of different shifters even a Sasquatch. While on a walk with Lana's niece and nephew Ty ends up in a scuffle with one lol. Ty wins the scuffle which wins him some respect. You will so love this series!. It has spine-tingling suspense,action Humor and Heart-stopping Romance!. Anna Lowe is a fantastic writer with a must read series!. I can not wait for the next one!

The heart whelming story of a young woman who thought she was not meant for a destins mate. And a male shifter that did not see his worth in having the woman meant for him. And especially when these to people are from rivals packs. This story was truly warming (like the shower scene). It shows where two people/shifter that truly love each other can come together and with stand anything. They are in sync with each other because they feel the same way. I did not read the first of the series Desert Moon, but it seems to me that I need to. Although this was a short story in REALLY left me wanting more!!!!!!!!!!!!Anna Lowe I have to tip my hat to you...............Well done......Can't waite for next installment.

By kathleen nichols ***I was given a copy of this book for a true and honest review***I really enjoyed this excellent short story. Its length would be perfect for a lunch hour read. For a short story the storyline wasn't rushed, it had a nice even flow to it. I would recommend this book for anyone 18+. The language is fairly moderate but the sexual scenes in the book are well written but are explicit. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the rest of the series so get your copy today. You will get a small look into Lana and Ty's relationship.This book was the first I've read from Anna Lowe and I will definitely be reading more of her work. Having not read the first book in the series I had no real problem reading and following the storyline. It will make you want to know more about Lana and Ty and their turbulent start together.They both had to face and overcome their personal demons before they could come together as mates. Since Lana came from a rival pack she had much to prove and overcome so that she could fit in with her new pack. She also had to work hard to become an equal to Ty as an alpha mate of the pack. Ty is a quiet almost shy man of few words but he is a strong and effective leader for his pack. As man of few words he occasionally struggles to express himself. He is dedicated to protecting, providing, and defending his pack and his mate and would give his life for anyone of them. The visit he and Lana are making is to please her and make her happy.This story is about love, loyalty, family, and togetherness. When a couple marry they think that it's just the two of them. The reality though is that when you marry a person you marry that persons family as well. These relationships can be a joyous and welcome blending of families or it can be contentious making for difficult sometimes angry relations.Lana was missing the cool green forest that up until two years ago had been her home. She wanted to introduce the wonderful mate that she was so proud of being mated to. Relations were tenuous between her mates pack and her families pack so Lana was eager and cautiously optimistic about their visit being a pleasant and relaxing time for the two of them away from pack duties and responsibilities. It was also a way to lessen tension between the packs. While on a walk in the forest with Lana and her niece and nephew they come upon a possible problem. Ty automatically goes into protection mode to keep the children and his mate safe. He did this without thought to himself and he was committed whole heartedly to the task at hand. The possible threat from a sasquatch know to the family however and was a joke but Lana had a hard time calming her mate from everything he was feeling at that moment. When returning home word spread of his heroic defense of Lana and the kids. Lana greatly enjoyed her visit home with all her family she realized that the desert back home had carved a spot in her heart and would always be her true home. Ty passed the test with her family and made her proud. Their future indeed looked wonderful and happy.
