Reckless Abandon was no different. It ended just like the first 2 in the series with a major major cliffhanger!! Like, really Heather?! If you haven't read the first 2 books in the series then stop! You must read them.We pick up right where we left off. Jeremy, Hunter & Derrick have gone to the Devils MC clubhouse to get Nicole back. Nicole and Jeremy have been in love forever but always danced around their feelings. When Nicole finds out her brother Jax who's the President of the Condemned Angels rival gang. She risks herself to save Jeremy and her MC family.Just as the 3 guys get there to save her. They hit a snag. The red head who's Jax old lady also happens to be Hunter's estranged wife. Yup, you read that right. Now, the guys are captured and everyone of them are fighting their own battles/demons.Poor Jeremy & Nicole. Jax is doing everything possible to torture Jeremy. At the expense of Nicole. I really felt terrible for them. Nicole did finally meet for biological father and learn the real, true story of him, her mom and her father(the one who raised her). We also learn more of their past.My heart broke even more for Hunter. Eva was/is the love of his life. We get their past and I really like them. Then, it went to hell like most relationships. Hunter and Eva haven't seen each other in years. And, the minute they do their emotions are off the charts. Both want to hate and kill the other one. But, then when they are looking at the other one something inside that they lost comes back.Jax that dirtbag. Man, do I hate him! He's doing the best job possible at making both couples miserable. And, Derrick is fighting his own battle being there. Jax notices something the minute Eva & Hunter see each other. He will not let the secrets go on anymore. He will not sit there in front of the people who have a few secrets that are making him look like a fool. If they don't figure something out. None of them is getting out alive. Man, did Heather rock my world for the 3rd book in a row! I can not wait to see how she is going to end the series. But, I'm hoping she'll decide to keep it going. Hey, I can hope!!

This love story proves that it isn't as it seems By Author Liberty Parker Reckless Abandon picks up where Reckless Ride left off, where Jeremy, Hunter and Derrick are on a rescue mission to rescue Nicole from her recently discovered biological family. The guys are captured as they are making plans to go in after Hunter realized that the red headed woman he spotted in the window, was none other than his long lost wife Eva.The woman who years before, betrayed him after stealing his heart and ripping it wide open with betrayal. At this point in time he tells himself is not important and he must stay away from her to keep him sanity in tact. Mission is to get out alive with his brothers and take back what is theirs and that is Nicole. Jeremy, finally realizing he needs to get his life together puts a claim to Nicole finally as Jax tries to make a claim on her for his club, Jeremy has to beat him to the punch by claiming her as his own. The question is whose claim took presidence? Jax uses Nicole to antagonize Jeremy by making him watch things he forces Nicole to endure during her "stay" at the club. Jeremy then proceeds to lose his temper along with Hunter and Derrick who have been brought to be a witness to Jeremy's hurt and Nicole's shame. As Jax is working on terrorizing Jeremy using his sister Nicole he spots Hunter and realizes Eva has betrayed him, because Eva is now his ol lady and something in Hunter catches Jax's eye. (We get snippets of the past between Hunter and Eva in this book that gives us many answers to what lays in the past) Jax doesn't like what he see's as he looks at Hunter and calls for his men to bring him seperately into a room for a private meeting. In the meantime Nicole is taken to her room where she is later met by her biological father Kix and is told of a story of love and betrayal between him and her mother. ( In case you don't remember Nicole's father killed her mother then himself when he learned he was not her father) Kix was truely in love with her mother and it was a love story gone wrong and continued even after her mother had to mary another= It is explained in much more detail in the book I am just giving a snipet. Nicole ask Kix to leave then all hell breaks lose and gunfire explodes as another explosion of different sorts is happening in Jax's bedroom between him, Eva and Hunter...This was an excellent read in this series and I cannot wait for the next book...what? did I leave you hanging? better read the book it is a 4 1/2 stars from me! Excellent work Heather thumbs up.

This author is QUEEN CLIFFY By amie So I will start by saying this is not the only book I read this weekend that tortured me !! I have now started naming authors by their writing style or something like that !! Heather Leigh is now known as QUEEN CLIFFY !! I mean seriously all 3 of these books have torturous cliffhangers and although they are resolved in the next books it is just rude of her to leave us hanging like this !! I love the multiple POV's and also love how we go back in time and get a ton of background on Hunter and Eva and more about Jeremy and Nicole !! We were loaded with new info at the end of book 2 and WOW it was major !! Now we are picking up where we left off.Nicole is being held by the Devil MC which is led by her new found brother Jax. He is nasty , OMG just a horrible person and the things he does to Nicole in front of Jeremy UGHHHH I wanted to throat punch him or punch him in the junk or both at the same time !! Jeremy , Hunter and Derrick are all being held here and going through their own personal tortures. Jeremy's is of course Nicole being held by Jax , Hunter's is in the form of his ex Eva and Derrick's is his inner struggles with being confined and held against his will. Where the heck are the Condemned boys and why haven't they saved us all ?? There is a quite a bit going on within each characters story but it just makes for such a great read. I flew through it , no warning it was ending and right as another big huge secret was to be spilled it ended !! OMG so cruel !! I don't want to spoil this so I am just recommending to anyone and everyone !! If you read the 1st 2 books you have to continue on and if you haven't but you love a good MC book with angst , drama and hot sex this is your series !!
