It was on my Kindle on 3.10.15 and I'd read it in less than an hour when I first woke up that morning. The author brings the story to an end which makes me sad because I feel that there were so many other avenues that she could have taken the story. I think what appeals to me the most is how different the men are from each other yet they seem to make it all work. Since there won't be another in this series I'll be looking forward to whatever Yaga Skuragi might come out with next.

I've really enjoyed following the relationship of our two main characters: each is unique and distinct and don't follow the cliches often found in this genre. Author Sakuragi does a great job of letting their relationship unfold organically and without high drama or over the top situations: there are no jealous lovers, deus ex machina plot devices, unlikely coincidences, or misunderstandings. Rather, Hide and Seek 3 is the culmination of the story of two men who come to respect and then love each other despite their different backgrounds.Story: Tanihara is still considering his situation - both with the kiosk he runs and with Dr. Saji. Saji never pushes or rushes the relationship, which gives Tanihara time to decide how he feels about this change in his life. As he spends more time with the pediatrician, he slowly begins to understand his own heart and that sometimes, the best things in life are the ones that are completely unexpected.The art is clean and the storytelling languid. But it comes to a natural conclusion with an extra side story to finish the volume. The storytelling is wonderfully mature with a few graphic sex scenes in the middle. Those who enjoyed the first two books in the series will definitely enjoy finishing the story of Tanihara and Saji.Reviewed from an ecopy provided by the publisher.

I'll say that Shuji's body language at the climax confused to me. It seems symbolic of his feelings but is too foreign to how an American man would move. It threw me out of the moment. That's the fault in my perceptions rather the artist, of course.On the bright side, we get to see two gorgeous men on a beach date, figuring out what they want and need from each other, and some fun interactions with other characters. I've liked how, in all three volumes, these characters act their age. They're immature in ways that 30-year-olds can be. As for the art, it's always wonderful. It's been impossible not to stare.
