The title of this book is misleading as it is almost identical to this one: http://www.amazon.com/Passionate-Marriage-Intimacy-Committed-Relationships-ebook/dp/B005V1ZJCWNot cool, Anna Villalobos, for that sneaky move.I only realized this after I purchased the book.

And I realize how important establishing a strong communicative and spiritual bond with one another is. While sex is important, the longevity of a relationship (as I see it as a novice) is to have a thorough understanding for one another and to develop compassion through the process. This book has many great reminders that allow me to tap into the tender side of me and to know when I may be sacrificing too much of my masculine in order to please my lady. The author cleverly put the ‘truth’ of a marriage in a story of the married couple, which I feel makes the application and lessons more real. I feel that this book is a huge competitive advantage in that respect. The power of a story is that we can find immediate relation to similar conditions in our lives. This book has reinforced the need to be present to my love, the biggest gift of all.

I'm always looking for more great books on how to make our marriage better, and this is one of them. A lot of important things are discussed in Passionate Marriage, and I've seen from experience why they work or don't work. The importance of being honest with yourself was a great chapter - and I think in many ways this is what is missing in a lot of my friends relationships. They seem to want to blame their husbands, and I think if they took a closer look, they'd notice some things they can improve on their own. All in all, it was a great book and anyone wanting a more passionate and loving marriage needs to read it.
