The sequel to My Best Friend's Brother By voraciousreader The sequel to My Best Friend's Brother, another fast read that deals with making the decision to follow your head or your heart and the consequences. Scarlett and Dev have forgotten to communicate, or chosen not to, and there are always consequences to that too. You can't help but admire Scarlett who stays true to her dream, and deals with her consequences as best she can.

Following their beautiful coming together story in "My Best Friend's Brother" you really did not expect things to take a turn for the worst for Dev and Scarlett. Throughout their relationship Dev speaks of being afraid of what he could become striving for money and power, and how Scarlett seems to keep him grounded. He is dealing with so many issues and is unwilling to share them with her, and in the end it tears them apart.Three years have passed and Scarlett has become who she always wanted to be, and now has been offered the job of a lifetime. However, this job comes in New York, the same city where Dev has become the reigning king of banking. This story follows them on their journey together to discover who they are now, and where it all went wrong and if there even should be a future together.This was a great read and way more action packed than I expected. The characters were well developed and the story really kept you on your toes!
