I can put up with so much for so long, but then it's like the cork blows and I blow with it. Then afterwards I feel like a jerk because I've said or done something that I really regret. Reading this book gave me a lot of light bulb moments, as well as plenty of guilty recognition ones as it addressed the very things I'd done or felt over the years. The chapter on the roots and causes of anger gave me plenty to consider as it covered things like passive aggressive behavior, competitive anger, and my personal go-to behavior, retaliatory anger.I think a lot of women are like me in that we were raised to "be sweet" and just swallow any anger we may feel. This book takes a much healthier approach to dealing with anger issues, showing you how to control and manage it rather than pretend it doesn't exist. It teaches you how to identify what's causing your anger, and how to choose more appropriate, less destructive outlets for it. There are plenty of methods and strategies included to help you manage your temper and maintain a more rational, calm attitude even in times of major stress. It's an excellent resource and I'd recommend it to women of all ages who want to get a better handle on their tempers.

I don't particularly feel comfortable with the idea of seeing a therapist, and I don't think the costs versus the results can always be justified, and so I was really happy to find this book.This book was one of the best I have ever read in the field of Anger Management, especially from the point of view of a woman. The author realizes the fact that in general, women are wired differently, and throughout this book, the author points out to the woman the differences between men and women, and points out many causes of a woman's anger, and the most important thing, that dealing with the hidden sources of anger can make a huge difference in the quality of your life.The book gives many suggestions about how to confront anger so that you can learn to deal with it.

I plan on starting my journey and attempting to use the techniques to cope with anger., this book is inspiring and let's you knows you're not alone if you are trying to cope with anger there's something for everyone in this book..
